Meet our newly elected Student Council for 2023-2024. The Student Council was formed to enable students to become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school and it’s students. The Student Council is made up of boys and girls from 1st, 2nd 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes.
Role of the Student Council:
- To enhance communication between students, management, staff and parents
- To promote an environment conducive to educational and personal development
- To promote friendship and respect among pupils
- To support the management and staff in the development of the school
- To represent the views of the students on matters of general concern to them
Student Council Activities:
The student council will engage in a range of activities, including:
- Attending regular meetings with the Student Council co-ordinators
- Checking school suggestion boxes and relaying suggestions to the Student Council co-ordinators
- Devising activities to raise funds for the school
- Helping out at Bake Sales and other school events
- Devising mindfulness and anti-bullying slogans for the school and developing ways to relay messages to other students.
- Liasing with students and staff
- Creating Green School incentives (litter & energy wardens)
- School Librarians
