Christmas Events

Team Hope Christmas Shoe Box Appeal

We are very proud to receive our ‘Team Hope’ certificates every year for donating to the Christmas Shoe box Appeal. These shoe boxes are gifted to many children in Romania and other deprived countries worldwide.  Many thanks to the families of Corduff who continue to support this very worthy cause.

Jumble Sale

Our annual Student Council Jumble/Cake Sale takes place in December.  We collect items such as toys, books, teddies, DVD’s, jewellery and bric-a-brac.  It is always a fun and memorable event in our school calendar and we like to wear our Christmas themed clothes on the day to get into the festive spirit! The proceeds of this event is donated to charity every year.

Christmas Carol Service

Christmas Carol Service

We are very lucky to have many musically talented children in Scoil Phádraig.  For the past several years the children have performed in a Christmas Carol Service in St. Michael’s church in Corduff.  The carol service  is a very special event in our school calendar and it’s an occasion that is thoroughly enjoyed by staff, parents, pupils and the wider community.    We would like to thank Liebe Kelly and Ellie Rose Ward and all the staff for preparing the children for their performances.

Seachtain Na Gaeilge

Gach bliain i rith Seachtain na Gaeilge bíonn céilí mór againn sa halla chun Lá Fhéile Pádraig a cheilúradh. Tagann an scoil go léir le chéile. Canann na páistí amhráin, seineann siad ceoil tradisiúnta, deanann said damhsa Gaeilge agus gan aon agó bíonn spóirt is scléip ag gach duine.
Our annual céilí is held in the month of March to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Every class gets a chance to perform a concert piece which may involve singing, reciting poetry, playing traditional music or presenting a short drama. It is a most enjoyable occasion for all and certainly an annual favourite with our pupils. An event not to be missed!
